Welcome to
Chapter T (Truro, NS)

Gold Wing Road Riders Association
FRIENDS, FUN, SAFETY and KNOWLEDGE
On June 11, 1988, Chapter B in New Glasgow became an official GWRRA Chapter with a charter of 22 members,
a number of whom were from the Truro and surrounding areas. Though interest and support were strong, after
a couple of years, interest in forming a more local GWRRA chapter began to grow. An information meeting was
held on November 8, 1992 to see if there was enough interest and support to form a "Truro" Chapter. That
meeting consisted of 17 GWRRA members. On November 28 1992, Chapter T held it's first official meeting
attended by 39 people of which 22 were members with 17 guests in attendance. Today, Chapter T is still a
strong, positive GWRRA chapter, attracting members and friends of all age groups with the focus on fun, safety
and knowledge...no matter what make of bike you prefer. Sadly, Chapter B in New Glasgow was dissolved at the
end of 2005, but as with all GWRRA chapters, GWRRA members are like one big family and a home is never far
away as members are always welcome at any chapter, anytime.
